I can transform a simple concept into something layered and engaging, whether it’s a narrative about vampires and Bitcoin or a visual identity that sparks conversation. I lean into what makes me different instead of smoothing it out. A mail carrier who writes novels, performs as a vampire, and studies philosophy isn’t conventional—and that’s the point. Hours earlier, I had stood before Val Kilmer—a man who once became Doc—and, for a moment, became Doc right back at him. He loved it. I loved it. And when a judge leaned in to tell me Val had nudged him mid-performance and said, “this guy is good,” the night locked into legend.
What followed felt just as unreal: in the years after, I returned—not as a contestant, but as a judge—alongside Dennis Quaid and Michael Biehn. Now, that's a win in my ledger.
